The line emptiness is a strong one.
Strong lines – love the ghost town series
This is very sharp. Between you and Gabo, I am tempted to take out my XA. Have been working a roll through my Trip 35, a camera I just love. That has become my XA for now.
If you’re not going to exhibit your Ghost Town series I’ll slap ya!
i’m not familiar with scanners at all, but is there a way to scan in a raw like format to adjust in Kelvin afterwards?
What kind of scanner are you using? My canon canoscan works nicely for a flatbed. I typically have to do some minor tweaking in photo shop to true the colors but I think that is the case with scanning color film.
anyway nice shots, I’ve never been down there.
dby: not really. and you’d think it’d be easier even than that: this was daylight balanced film under normal mid-day conditions. the scanner is trying to be too smart for its own good.
hewinsd: mine’s an Epson 4490. I think it’s a combination of software and user stupidity. The software seems to try to over-correct the color and ends up with goofy cyan skies.
I know what you mean, mine did that until I finally figured out how to turn off all the auto corrections in the software options. A lot of my photos especially indoors get this strange green tint to them before I adjust the color level.
