You'll probably want to shop the typical online places and maybe even a local newspaper. It will be a little tough to find a used unit but they are out there.That is if you wanted to go that route. Give the Yahoo classifieds a shot.
You are wanting some Serious depth for your find! If your "treasure" is large enough, I would highly recommend a detector design called a TWO BOX type. These detectors look somewhat different than most,however,they Will find Large metal objects up to 20 feet in depth and more. Check out this Fisher Gemini-3 at this url location.

If you have a few minutes, check out the two companies'detectors that I would recommend using, I have been using metal detectors since the mid 1970's and I cannot say that I have tried them all but I have had quite a few different metal detectors from various makers out in the field. This is purley my opinion ,of course, but perhaps it will start you out in the right direction as far as finding the correct metal detector for your application.
